As a result of the dramatic situation in Ukraine, which affects a whole population from which unfortunately children are not spared, we have decided to indefinitely stop our preparations for our action: "Pilgrimage to Rome for the benefit of underprivileged children" and to move our work area to the border region with Ukraine.

We have already made contact with the Ukrainian community of Belgium who can/will accommodate refugees.

Through contacts in Lviv we have found an organization that brings together refugees from the region to guide them towards the border with Poland.

In the meantime we are also in close contact with an organization in Warshaw that will take care of this 'refugee list' until our arrival.

on June 28th, 2022, we went for the 9th and last time to the border region with Ukraine to:
1- drop off necessary equipment
2- come back with relatives of Ukrainian families from Germany and Belgium

These people, meanwhile, were picked up from/at the Ukrainian border and transferred to safe places in Belgium. In total we have already been able to bring more than 104 people to a safe home

On today we could already receive a nice sum of €24.580 from our donors and sponsors. This sum will be spent on renting minibuses, diesel and hotel accommodation in Poland for the Ukrainian refugees awaiting our arrival to take them to Belgium.

A second load was delivered on Saturday, March 19 with another 2 pallets of medical material and medicine, 54kg of mashed potato flakes, good for 1,700kg mashed potatoes. Baby equipment, toys, sleep and hygiene gear, dry food
